Covid Clause Conditions

 

Given the nature of the continually changing landscape we find ourselves in, we have spent time reviewing our policies, supplier contracts and terms and conditions.
Our aim is to be more flexible with bookings and ultimately provide more appropriate and fair terms and conditions for the world we are currently living and operating in.
We have taken a considered approach in an effort to ensure we can offer clarity and confidence when booking with Alpine Sherpa whilst maintaining our great service throughout!

COVID Booking policy: Deposit to secure your booking is now a non-refundable admin fee of 10% of the value of your booking (up to a maximum of £90).

The remaining balance for the booking is due 8 weeks before your booking date.

When travelling with Alpine Sherpa, we will have a maximum of 6 passengers per vehicle. All drivers along with passengers (over 11 years old) are required to wear a mask in our vehicles. All vehicles are cleaned thoroughly after every transfer and will have hand sanitiser onboard.  
Additionally, we can assure you we will be closely monitoring official guidelines and will be and implementing any regulations/guidance issued!

Where you are unable to arrive for your transfer as a result of FCDO advice due to COVID-19, please contact us at info@alpinesherpa.com.  We may be able to offer you one of the following options, where you fit the criteria and where the options are available to you.

 

  1. Flexible bookings

Postpone your booking for up to 12 months from the date of your original booking, when you have notified us that you are unable to attend your booking, no later than 28 days before your original booking date (where you have more than one transfer, the original booking date refers to the date of the first transfer).

 

  1. COVID-19 refund

Given the rapidly changing nature of COVID-19 in the below circumstances, where you have paid for your booking in full, we may provide you with a refund of your booking value (excluding your booking fee), if up to 24 hours before your first transfer date you notify us that:

  1. the French, British, Swiss Governments, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, close their borders or introduce measures which prevent you from attending your transfer; or
  2. you become ill with COVID-19 and are therefore unable to attend your booking (in such circumstances you must also provide official documentation/medical certificate confirming your diagnosis).

 

Please note that in no event will we provide a refund due to your, or any member of your group’s, disinclination to utilise your booking. As you would anticipate, we are doing our best to monitor and implement any changing COVID-19 regulations issued by the French national, regional and/or local governments to enhance our current safety procedures.
